About Yoga therapy

Originally, yoga was therapeutic in nature and meant to be taught one-on-one. The practices depended on the person’s stage of life and were rooted in the belief that yoga must always be adapted to our ever-changing needs, so no matter what, we can do what we love with more sustained contentment.

Yoga Therapy remains true to the basic principles of Yoga, taking into account all aspects of our human existence. People may come because of a specific physical problem, but may find they benefit in larger ways as well. A balanced set of practices calm the mind and regulate the system, while acting upon a specific condition.

Feeling Good

Whatever brings you to Yoga, the desired outcome is the same – feeling good. Yoga has been shown to boost levels of serotonin, dopamine, and endorphins – the three natural feel-good substances.
